(For many reasons Gyke was suspected of contributing material to the Good Times under names such as goatkirk, jando, verne, and now orkney. The explanation given was it gave the paper the appearance of having a much larger staff than in reality.)
"orkney" claims he was in Europe in winter 1968. The first day of winter in 1968 was December 21, one day after the Zodiac's attack at Lake Herman Road.
